I feel like people trip dick first over themselves to create new genres for POBPAT.  “Dreampop”, “shoewave”, “unwieldy acronym-rock”: the list goes on.

I’ll add one: “snooze-core”.  It’s great music for falling asleep to.  It’s perfectly unoffensive music to sip a $9 microbrew to after a long day at your web developer job.  POBPAT is the tai chi to My Bloody Valentine’s tiger style.

You’re going to feel real goofy in 5 years about loving this band now.

I’m fucking done with it.
